Review Pipeline

The Review Pipeline

What happens after you submit.

The archive reflects only finalized entries. Before classification, every submission moves through intake, review, and decision.

Stage 1

Submission

All entries begin on r/TheSaltbox.

There are two submission types:

  • Frammenti — Partial or incomplete incidents. Require at least one asset (photo, audio, or video). Structure may be loose. Intended for early-stage or unclear anomalies.
  • SBX Submissions — Full entries following the complete field submission format. Require video. These are the only entries eligible for classification.

Submissions must be flaired correctly at posting:

  • SBX Submission
  • Frammenti Submission
Stage 2

Intake

Submissions enter public visibility.

Community interaction, clarity, and overall signal determine whether an entry advances. There is no fixed threshold.

The founding team may also advance a submission directly.

Stage 3

Processing

The submission enters internal review.

At this stage, Pastore assesses:

  • Media authenticity
  • Specificity and credibility of the account
  • Structural integrity
  • Department assignment

Submissions in this stage are marked:

Processing

If issues are identified, the entry is marked Unresolved and may be revised.

Stage 4

Decision

A final determination is issued.

Classified
The entry is assigned a permanent designation (SBX-###), published to the archive, and appended with a Pastore response.

Unresolved
The entry requires revision. Contributors may resubmit up to R5.

Unresolved — Closed
The revision limit has been reached. The entry is permanently closed.

Frammenti

Partial Records

Frammenti may remain as partial records or be expanded into full submissions.

Expanded entries may enter Processing and become eligible for classification.

Not all anomalies present fully formed.

Notes

What To Expect
